ATEX equipment - intrinsically safe set in accordance with ATEX for EX zones - explosion safe
Dimecon series devices enable Ethernet-based communication and control of equipment installed in explosion hazard zones. The Dimecon ETH separator enables the connection of a 10/100Base-TX wired network to an intrinsically safe 100Base-TX wired network routed through hazardous areas – EX zones.
TYPICAL APPLICATIONS:
– connection of intrinsically safe Ethernet (Ex i) networks to external networks;
– long-distance data transmission requiring high-speed and reliable connectivity to and from explosion hazard zones.
The Dimecon PLUG separator enables the connection of an external network to an optical fiber network (Ex op is) routed through EX Zones.
The fiber optic interface can be adapted to the existing infrastructure using the appropriate type of Dimecon PLUG SFP transceiver.
Certified PiR sensors and dual PiR + MW sensors powered by an intrinsically safe power supply, type MM 2012, and protected by a dual-channel relay separator, type MM5016, form an intrinsically safe, which has gone through ATEX certification process compliant anti-intrusion set designed for operation in hazardous areas.
Floods pose significant risks to industries, especially in EX zones such as mining, gas, and oil sectors. The combination of water and flammable materials can lead to catastrophic fires and explosions. Implementing effective solutions to mitigate these risks is crucial for ensuring safety and minimizing damage. This article explores various strategies and technologies to prevent sparks and fires during floods in these high-risk industries.
In today’s industrial landscape, it is crucial to prioritize safety when selecting equipment for hazardous environments. The ATEX certification stands as a hallmark of reliable and safe products, ensuring that they meet strict compliance standards. But what exactly is ATEX certification and why is it so important to obtain proper ATEX approval for designed for EX zones?
Dust explosions are a significant hazard in many industrial environments, particularly those classified as ATEX zones. These zones are areas where explosive atmospheres may occur due to the presence of flammable gases, vapors, mists, or dust. Ensuring safety in these environments is critical, and it involves understanding the risks, implementing preventive measures, and using ATEX certified products.

year warranty. The luminaire features a high ingress protection rating of IP66, ensuring resistance to dust and powerful water jets.

Gigabit Ethernet – 9474-ETG 10/100/1000 Mbps. Ethernet LAN interfaces are equipped with Rj45 connectors. The ground wires are connected to screw terminals – terminals 1-4/13-16 and to a terminal for DIN rail installation. All versions of the device are suitable for Group I – mines.
Pressure gauge type TSz – used for measuring the pressure of liquid or gas supplied through a screw joint (threaded fitting, flange) with a thread M20 x 1.5 (other threads sizes can be ordered).
EX PiR sensors and dual PiR + MW sensors powered by an intrinsically safe power supply type MM 2012 and protected by a two-channel relay separator type MM5016 form an intrinsically safe set of ATEX-compliant anti-burglary devices designed for operation in zones
